Allen is very informative, personal, enthusiastic, and genuine. He treats each person as though they are the most important person in his life at that moment. We all look forward to Allen coming to Ellinwood Country Living Senior Community on Thursdays for his presentations. Our favorites are TV Trivia from the 50’s and 60s – as well as Kansas Triva!

Allen comes to River Bend twice a month. He gives a wonderful presentation to the residents and their families that are visiting. He has a vast knowledge of the many topics he covers and engages the residents in a very entertaining way. He is fun to interact with and the residents thoroughly enjoy him coming. He has become friends with several of the residents and we see him often, just to come visit with them.
He brings a lightheartedness with him and it makes the residents happy. They really like to joke around with him. I have a few residents that very rarely leave their rooms, but they will NOT miss a presentation given by Allen!

I received an initial contact email from Adub Studios offering their services to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver free of charge as part of their Children’s Partner Program. Although I originally assumed that such a deal was too good to be true, I proceeded to review their mission and express my interest in learning more. After a prompt follow-up call from Allen, I knew that their offer was legit and that Gates Camp was a perfect match for this type of relationship. As a result, I jumped at the opportunity to partner with Adub Studios, and I can honestly say that I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. Our main collaborative goal was to connect campers’ experiences to their parents and families back home in inner-city Denver, who are typically far-removed from their children’s life-changing weeks at summer camp. Through Adub’s expertise, creativity, communication, vision, and resources, we reached this goal big time! In addition, six months later, Adub is still asking how they can assist us in creating a top notch promotional video for Gates Camp’s fundraising efforts. Their commitment to our satisfaction and service of the highest quality has been their priority from the onset of our partnership. Allen has been doing presentations for people with developmental disabilities at Rosewood Services for the last year. He is a fun, entertaining and knowledgeable presenter. He also is a very caring person in that he has taken the time to get to know many of our folks personally and arrives early just to visit with them. His knowledge of his personalized “History Trivia” presentations are amazing! The folks look forward to him presenting to us each month and love being involved, especially in the question and answer part of his presentations; most can’t wait to get their high fives or fist bumps from him after answering correctly!

Allen presented at our annual Claflin United Methodist Women’s brunch to 80 members from many communities around Claflin. The women who ranged in age from 10 to 80+ declared Allen a “big hit - the best program we’ve had!” He was informative, entertaining, and a delight to have at our meeting. We are an alternative high school in Great Bend Kansas and have enjoyed Allen teaching our students. A few months ago Allen created an online photo album for my mother’s 100th birthday party. We sent him black and white pictures, color pictures and videos from past wonderful family moments and he took it from there. The DVD was incredibly cool and we sent it as gifts to our friends and family. He also provided a link to the video that we were able to send out by email! I would recommend Allen to make family photo albums as Christmas gifts or for any occasion. Thank you Allen! Everyone cherishes the moments you preserved.

We were just delighted with the final product. We thought you did a great job. We were hesitant at first to bother with a dvd - it seemed a bit silly/excessive for a 4 year old team - but we were thrilled that we did it when we watched our little guy in action. It probably helps that he is a total character so he is a cutie pie to watch! So, the dvd and stills were wonderful and we thank you all a ton!
