My method in a nutshell. Motivate the beginner to stick with it - show the intermediate how to be a rock star! And do this through a STEP-BY-STEP, BUILDING BLOCK process. While having a lot of FUN along the way!
When coaching basketball, some coaches simply start with Lets do a lay-up! But what they do not teach is What the lay-up is all about. How, when, where, and most important, why. Every move counts. A move is a step in the process of teaching. A lay-up is subtle and should be approached with finesse and knowledge that becomes second nature. A lay-up should be taught in steps, allowing the student to get each step before moving to the next.
Just like guitar.
That is how I teach guitar. With chords and strumming first. REAL WORLD One does not need to read music to play the guitar the rest of their lives! Most instructors begin there, and the student looses interest. Although I can teach theory - I DO NOT. We can leave that to the piano teachers!
I can guarantee you however, I WILL TEACH YOU TO PLAY THE GUITAR sooner than most instructors are capable of! As long as you follow my unique methodology and practice using my instructional videos.
